Auction result well in line with expectations
The work “Landskab til eftertanke” by Poul Janus Ipsen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Poul Janus Ipsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Den sidste hindring” in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,000.00 (€ 1,747.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit “Landskab til eftertanke” von Poul Janus Ipsen kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Poul Janus Ipsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Den sidste hindring” im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.000,00 (€ 1.747,95).
