Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Poucette could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Sunday Sale auction, the work The cola party changed hands for GBP 250.00 (€ 318.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Poucette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boulevard Saint Michel, Paris in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,887.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Poucette konnte im Juli 2012 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Sunday Sale wechselte die Arbeit The cola party für GBP 250,00 (€ 318,43) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Poucette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boulevard Saint Michel, Paris im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.887,53).
