The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 875.80) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pollock Sinclair Nisbet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tangier, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,235.02).

Die Arbeit Durham From The River von Pollock Sinclair Nisbet kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 600,00 (€ 875,80) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pollock Sinclair Nisbet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tangier beobachtet, die im Juni 2000 für GBP 1.410,00 (€ 2.235,02) versteigert wurde.
