Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2009 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Old Master Paintings, XIX Century Paintings, Furniture, Ceramics and Works of Art and Books, which included the work Sacra Famiglia Con San Giovannino by Polidoro de Renzi. The price achieved of EUR 17,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Polidoro de Renzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Madonna And Child With The Young Saint John The Baptist, which sold at auction in January 2014 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,037.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2009 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Paintings, XIX Century Paintings, Furniture, Ceramics and Works of Art and Books durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sacra Famiglia Con San Giovannino von Polidoro de Renzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Polidoro de Renzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Madonna And Child With The Young Saint John The Baptist beobachtet, die im Januar 2014 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.037,04) versteigert wurde.
