The price achieved of GBP 12,925.00 (€ 20,899.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Placido Costanzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Narcissus And Echo in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 204,000.00 (€ 150,887.57).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.925,00 (€ 20.899,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Placido Costanzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Narcissus And Echo im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 204.000,00 (€ 150.887,57).
