It achieved a price of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,414.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Piotr C. Stojanov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pferdeschlitten mit Festgesellschaft in verschneiter Landschaft. in March 2008 with an auction result of CHF 24,000.00 (€ 15,305.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The troica ride von Piotr C. Stojanov kam im September 2001 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.115,00 (€ 3.414,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piotr C. Stojanov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pferdeschlitten mit Festgesellschaft in verschneiter Landschaft. im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 24.000,00 (€ 15.305,03).
