Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Military Inspection by Piotr Ivanovich Balashov. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,739.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Piotr Ivanovich Balashov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work A Group Of Officers And Men Of The Life Guards Dragoon Regiment was auctioned for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,266.45).
