Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Still Life With Apples, Pomegranates, Quinces. Figs And Jasmine by Pietro Paolo Bonzi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,175.66). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Paolo Bonzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Grapes, Peaches, Pomegranates, Apples, Melon And Figs, All On A Marble Ledge in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 101,756.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still Life With Apples, Pomegranates, Quinces. Figs And Jasmine von Pietro Paolo Bonzi im Mai 2018 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.175,66) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Paolo Bonzi erzielen.
