Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Caricature of a grotesque by Pietro Novelli for USD 120.00 (€ 90.40). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Novelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ À La Colonne in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 65,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Caricature of a grotesque von Pietro Novelli für USD 120,00 (€ 90,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Novelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christ À La Colonne im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.000,00.
