In May 2019 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti E Sculture Del XIX E XX Secolo, which included the work Pescatori in laguna by Pietro Fragiacomo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 17,000.00 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro Fragiacomo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Segelschiffe in der Lagune, which sold at auction in May 2017 for EUR 37,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti E Sculture Del XIX E XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pescatori in laguna von Pietro Fragiacomo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 17.000,00 und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pietro Fragiacomo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Segelschiffe in der Lagune beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für EUR 37.200,00 versteigert wurde.
