It achieved a price of EUR 6,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Admittedly, works by Pietro Barucci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Traghetto sul lago in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 29,400,000.00 (€ 26,424.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La sosta della carovana von Pietro Barucci wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pietro Barucci auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Traghetto sul lago im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 29.400.000,00 (€ 26.424,00).
