Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Naples, A View Of The Strada Di Santa Lucia, From Pizzofalcone To The Ponte Della Maddalena by Pietro Antoniani for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,904.48). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Antoniani achieve.
