Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2003 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Orientalist Pictures, which included the work The important letter by Pieter Willem Sebes. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,815.00 (€ 9,793.53). Other works by Pieter Willem Sebes have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,217.51) in April 2005 for the work The Important Letter.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Orientalist Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The important letter von Pieter Willem Sebes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.815,00 (€ 9.793,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Pieter Willem Sebes haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 10.217,51) im April 2005 für die Arbeit The Important Letter beobachtet.
