Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism, which included the work An extensive dune landscape with an elegant couple and travellers halting by an inn by Pieter Jansz. van Asch. The price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter Jansz. van Asch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A hunting party near a lake, a village in the distance, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 14,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism durch, in der auch die Arbeit An extensive dune landscape with an elegant couple and travellers halting by an inn von Pieter Jansz. van Asch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieter Jansz. van Asch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A hunting party near a lake, a village in the distance beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 14.400,00 versteigert wurde.
