The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 6,000.00 but the actual price achieved wa Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pieter Van Anraadt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait Of A Gentleman; And Portrait Of A Lady, Both Three-Quarter-Length, Seated By Draped Tables, With Coastal Landscapes Beyond sold at auction in September 2019 with the realized price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,030.49).
