In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work An Interior With A Man Reading, His Wife Snoozing In A Chair Beside Him by Pieter Cornelisz van Egmondt. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,002.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00.
