Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction The Marine Sale, which included the work Koudum, Holland by Pieter Cornelis Dommersen. The price achieved of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,229.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pieter Cornelis Dommersen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A river estuary with fishermen unloading the catch with a two-master beyond. in October 2001 with an auction result of EUR 30,550.00.

Im Oktober 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Marine Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Koudum, Holland von Pieter Cornelis Dommersen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.229,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
