Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter Jansz. Coopse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Shipping In Stormy Waters, Off The Coast Of Middelburg, With A View Of Vlissingen And The Fort Rammekens In The Distance, which sold at auction in November 2008 for EUR 34,350.00.
