Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Art, which included the work Peasants outside a cottage in a wooded landscape by Pieter Barbiers I. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Pieter Barbiers I have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2015 the work View of the ruin of the abbey of Rijnsburg seen from the west; and View of the ruin of the abbey of Rijnsburg seen from the north was auctioned for EUR 4,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peasants outside a cottage in a wooded landscape von Pieter Barbiers I zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Pieter Barbiers I konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2015 die Arbeit View of the ruin of the abbey of Rijnsburg seen from the west; and View of the ruin of the abbey of Rijnsburg seen from the north für EUR 4.000,00 versteigert.
