Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Dead Cockerel, Ducks, A Pigeon, A Greenfinch And Mushrooms In An Italianate Landscape; And A Dead Pheasant, Partridges, Goldfinches, Quails And Apricots, Plums And Peaches In An Italianate Landscape by Pieter Andreas Rysbrack was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,584.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pieter Andreas Rysbrack have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Prospect Of Tottenham Park, Wiltshire in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 111,650.00 (€ 142,212.09).
