Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Composition by Piet Stenneberg. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 537.75 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Piet Stenneberg have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2004 the work La reve du vieux marin was auctioned for EUR 836.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Piet Stenneberg zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 537,75 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Piet Stenneberg konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2004 die Arbeit La reve du vieux marin für EUR 836,50 versteigert.
