In the Old Master Day Sale including Old Master Paintings, Drawings and British Works on Paper auction, the work L’Âme Brisant Les Liens Qui L’Attachent À La Terre (The Soul Breaking The Ties That Bind It To Earth) sold for GBP 93,750.00 (€ 104,570.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre-Paul Prud'Hon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Madame Péan De Saint-Gilles, which sold at auction in January 2007 for USD 456,000.00 (€ 350,823.20).

Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Paul Prud'Hon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Madame Péan De Saint-Gilles beobachtet, die im Januar 2007 für USD 456.000,00 (€ 350.823,20) versteigert wurde.
