It achieved a price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,689.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Pierre Nicolas Legrand de Lérant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Heureuse Famille in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 11,731.00.

Die Arbeit A Pair Of Classical Scenes With Figures Among Ruins: A) A Ruined Palatial Hall In A City Sacked By Turks (Recto); A Plan Of The Building With Studies Of Figures (Verso) B) A Capriccio Of Classical Ruins With Turks By A P von Pierre Nicolas Legrand de Lérant kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.689,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Nicolas Legrand de Lérant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Heureuse Famille im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.731,00.
