This artwork by Pierre Klossowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in July 2020. In the Contemporary Art - Day Sale auction, the work Gulliver Marchandant Roberte - 1988 sold for EUR 117,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Klossowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Maniaque Commence - 1978, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 367,360.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Klossowski erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art - Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Gulliver Marchandant Roberte - 1988 für EUR 117.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Klossowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Maniaque Commence - 1978 beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 367.360,00 versteigert wurde.
