Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work La Nappe Broée by Pierre Boncompain. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,652.32), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Pierre Boncompain have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (red still life) in July 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,293.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Nappe Broée von Pierre Boncompain zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.652,32) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Boncompain auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (red still life) im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.293,48).
