Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters | New Perspectives: Masterworks from The Alana Collection, which included the work The Holy Family with Saint Jerome by Pier Francesco Mazzucchelli. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 63,000.00 (€ 60,177.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Pier Francesco Mazzucchelli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2020 the work Studies for Christ before Caiaphas was auctioned for GBP 100,000.00 (€ 111,708.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters | New Perspectives: Masterworks from The Alana Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Holy Family with Saint Jerome von Pier Francesco Mazzucchelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 60.177,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Pier Francesco Mazzucchelli konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2020 die Arbeit Studies for Christ before Caiaphas für GBP 100.000,00 (€ 111.708,91) versteigert.
