Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work The Alps In The Evening Sun by Piero Antonio Gariazzo. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 570.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Other works by Piero Antonio Gariazzo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2006 the work Javanese dancer was auctioned for EUR 1,020.00.

Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Alps In The Evening Sun von Piero Antonio Gariazzo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 570,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden.
