Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Pichai Nirand was sold in the Ritual + Culture OnlineFine Southeast Asian Arts auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2020. The price achieved of HKD 48,125.00 (€ 5,666.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Other works by Pichai Nirand have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work Buddhapada, 1989 was auctioned for HKD 94,375.00 (€ 10,708.39).
