Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Phillips in London held the auction The Marino Golinelli Collection, which included the work Hidden by Pia Fries. The price achieved of GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,371.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Pia Fries have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June last year the work „Windwuchs“ was auctioned for EUR 21,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Phillips in London die Auktion The Marino Golinelli Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hidden von Pia Fries zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.400,00 (€ 16.371,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Pia Fries konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni letzten Jahres die Arbeit „Windwuchs“ für EUR 21.250,00 versteigert.
