Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Folliate illumination by Phoebe Anna Traquair was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 828.75 (€ 920.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Phoebe Anna Traquair achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reverie in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 21,312.50 (€ 23,665.71).

Die Arbeit Folliate illumination von Phoebe Anna Traquair wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 828,75 (€ 920,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Phoebe Anna Traquair erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reverie im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.312,50 (€ 23.665,71).
