The price achieved of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,686.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Heavy horse class, Ludlow, Shropshire is the most expensive artwork by Phillip Sanders that we have observed at auctions so far.
