Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction African Contemporary Art, which included the work Les Jumeaux, 1992 by Philippe Sène. The price achieved of EUR 3,900.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Philippe Sène have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work Cinq Pangols Gris, 1991 was auctioned for EUR 5,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion African Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Jumeaux, 1992 von Philippe Sène zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.900,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Philippe Sène konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2021 die Arbeit Cinq Pangols Gris, 1991 für EUR 5.850,00 versteigert.
