Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sweetheart #2, 2007 by Philippe Huart was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,379.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Huart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Danger, 2004, which sold at auction in April 2007 for EUR 3,453.00.

Die Arbeit Sweetheart #2, 2007 von Philippe Huart kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.379,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Huart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Danger, 2004 beobachtet, die im April 2007 für EUR 3.453,00 versteigert wurde.
