A top price for Philippe de Rougemont - as previously expected
The work French the Reflection by Philippe de Rougemont was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,250.00 (€ 3,480.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, French the Reflection is the most expensive artwork by Philippe de Rougemont that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit French the Reflection von Philippe de Rougemont kam im Februar 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.250,00 (€ 3.480,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
