Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Philip Reisman could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work The Alcove changed hands for USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,080.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philip Reisman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jazz Dancers V (The Metropole) in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,458.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philip Reisman konnte im September 2006 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit The Alcove für USD 2.640,00 (€ 2.080,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip Reisman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jazz Dancers V (The Metropole) im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 9.458,50).
