Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Philip Lawrence Sherrod; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hell Hole, Coney Island sold at auction in July 2012 with the realized price of USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,319.53).
