In the California Art auction, the work Trees along a stream sold for USD 14,025.00 (€ 12,425.80) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philip Herschel Paradise have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work East 5th (Street) in April this year with an auction result of USD 65,895.00 (€ 59,687.50).
