This artwork by Philip Herschel Paradise achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November 2021. In the California Art auction, the work Trees along a stream sold for USD 14,025.00 (€ 12,425.80) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philip Herschel Paradise have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work East 5th (Street) in April this year with an auction result of USD 65,895.00 (€ 59,687.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philip Herschel Paradise erzielte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion California Art wurde die Arbeit Trees along a stream für USD 14.025,00 (€ 12.425,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip Herschel Paradise auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit East 5th (Street) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 65.895,00 (€ 59.687,50).
