Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Schtroumpfs by Peyo was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in February 2023. The price achieved of EUR 2,624 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as EUR 2,000 - 3,000. Admittedly, works by Peyo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.

Die Arbeit Les Schtroumpfs von Peyo kam im Februar 2023 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.624 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000 – 3.000 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peyo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250.
