However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieter Gerardus Vertin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Laundry Day In A Dutch Town, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 20,650.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.955,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieter Gerardus Vertin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Laundry Day In A Dutch Town beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 20.650,00 versteigert wurde.
