In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Expectation sold for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,355.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Petr Pavlovich Ossovsky; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Construction In A New District Of Moscow sold at auction in November 2016 with the realized price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,748.77).
