A top price for Petr Ivanovich Kelin - as previously expected
The work Palace in Arkhangelsk by Petr Ivanovich Kelin was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,863.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Palace in Arkhangelsk is the most expensive artwork by Petr Ivanovich Kelin that we have observed at auctions so far.
