Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ghost Moths White by Peeter Stevens II was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. The price achieved of AUD 2,031.50 (€ 1,221.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 1,800.00 – 2,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peeter Stevens II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A wooded river landscape with fishermen by cottages, a wooden bridge beyond in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 58,750.00 (€ 63,117.75).

Die Arbeit Ghost Moths White von Peeter Stevens II kam im April 2006 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 2.031,50 (€ 1.221,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 1.800,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben worden.
