Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction Modern Decorative Art + Design, which included the work Madame X by Peter Shire. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,165.79). Other works by Peter Shire have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,529.83) in October 2018 for the work Junior Gigantea With Ettore'S Earring, 1991.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Modern Decorative Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Madame X von Peter Shire zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.165,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Peter Shire haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.529,83) im Oktober 2018 für die Arbeit Junior Gigantea With Ettore'S Earring, 1991 beobachtet.
