Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2005 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Palazzo Ugoccioni, Morning, Florence by Peter Kuhfeld. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,771.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Kuhfeld - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Garden at Womenswold, which sold at auction in March 2001 for GBP 3,055.00 (€ 4,929.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Palazzo Ugoccioni, Morning, Florence von Peter Kuhfeld zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.771,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Kuhfeld mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Garden at Womenswold beobachtet, die im März 2001 für GBP 3.055,00 (€ 4.929,55) versteigert wurde.
