The work Soul Control by Peter Halley was auctioned at Phillips in London in December this year. It achieved a price of GBP 254,000.00 (€ 292,598.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 69%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter Halley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Yellow Cell With Triple Conduit sold at auction in March 2018 with the realized price of GBP 513,000.00 (€ 584,078.81).
