Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Yorkshire Mill by Peter Brook. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,249.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Peter Brook have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2013 the work Calling For A Brew (With More Snow Coming) was auctioned for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,035.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yorkshire Mill von Peter Brook zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.249,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Peter Brook konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2013 die Arbeit Calling For A Brew (With More Snow Coming) für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.035,56) versteigert.
