Auction result well in line with expectations
The work June by Peter Brook was sold in the Modern | British & Irish Art auction at Christies in London in April 2019. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,816.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Brook - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calling For A Brew (With More Snow Coming), which sold at auction in December 2013 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,035.56).
