Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Peter Brook achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2017. In the Modern British & Irish Art auction, the work Farm sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,451.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter Brook; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calling For A Brew (With More Snow Coming) sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,035.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Brook erzielte im März 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Farm für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.451,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Peter Brook; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calling For A Brew (With More Snow Coming) im Dezember 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.035,56).
