Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape with Death Figure by Peter Booth was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in August 2003. The price achieved of AUD 705.00 (€ 416.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Booth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Untitled, 2002 in November 2008 with an auction result of AUD 168,000.00 (€ 86,633.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape with Death Figure von Peter Booth kam im August 2003 bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 705,00 (€ 416,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Booth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Untitled, 2002 im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 168.000,00 (€ 86.633,69).
