A top price for Peter Avery - as previously expected
In November this year Christies in New York held the auction Christie's London Staff Auction, which included the work Firestone, 2022 by Peter Avery. The price achieved of GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,460.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Firestone, 2022 is the most expensive artwork by Peter Avery that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's London Staff Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Firestone, 2022 von Peter Avery zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.460,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Firestone, 2022 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Peter Avery, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
